The long journey ("Dlouha jizda") is a special feature of the Děčín castle. The entrance to the castle is 292 m long and surrounded on both sides by a wall. The walls are getting lower towards the castle, so that the corridor looks even longer due to a visual illusion similar to that of the Potemkian stairs in Odessa.
