Hiking

The Novalis Trail connects the Jena Romantic House with the town of Schlöben, 15 km southeast, and takes hikers on a journey into the early Romantic period. The Novalis Trail was recently adorned with sculptures specially designed for the trail by five artists: Barbara Magdalena Neuhäuser, Immanuel Kraus, Gernot Ehrsam, Frank Mühlfriedel, and Klaus Langmann, celebrating the poet and his time in the Jena region. visit-jena.de/aktiv-und-natur/wandern/novalisweg
