Gamseck Summit Cross

The Gamseck summit can be reached via the Heukuppe or via the climbing classics "Wildes Gamseck" and "Zahmes Gamseck" (via ferrata) and is on the way to the highly recommended Habsburghaus. The magnificent view of the Schneealm will remain unforgettable for a long time!

Always worth a visit

The Zahme Gamseck (not to be confused with the Wilden Gamseck = free climbing in the 2nd level of difficulty!) is a technically easy, very well insured via ferrata (A/B).

As the name suggests, chamois sightings are very likely and nature also has some other beauties in store (rock scenery). From the exit, it goes almost at ground level to the Habsburghaus with its beautiful panoramic terrace or further to the Heukuppe, the highest peak of the Rax.
