Best Hikes to Ulm City Wall

Tips

  • Above the wall and down wide paths, which results in a very pretty promenade that pedestrians and cyclists easily share in the lower area.

  • In 1482, the city wall was built. Today it is a popular promenade path, which leads along the Danube at the Fischer- and Gerberviertel, past the Metzgerturm and at the boat landing stage as well as at the Rosengarten to the Friedrichsau, the green lungs Ulms. Here you have a wonderful view of the Danube and Neu-Ulm.

  • From the city wall you can see the butcher tower, to the right the old city pool and if you turn around and look at the Danube you can look from Baden-Württemberg to Neu-Ulm / Bavaria.
