Best Hiking Routes to Häuslesbrücke (Fishermen’s Quarter Ulm)

Tips

  • The 700-year-old bridge with the double arch over the large and small blue is called Häuslesbrücke and is the most striking in the fishing district alongside the Saubrückle am Wilden Mann. It was part of the former city wall of the Staufer from 1316. On the inside ran the so-called donkey walkway to the Veltinsmühle, also called donkey mill. When the city wall was demolished in the early 17th century, the bridge to the blue crossing was preserved. At its core, it consists of limestone from the old Staufer wall.

  • Always a nice atmosphere in the fishing district - the main times should be avoided if you are not particularly into mass tourism.
