History can be felt here. Even today the Freinberg (Galgenberg) has a prehistoric fortification in the form of a section wall, which is clearly visible in the area. An information board and marker boards mark the wall, which might otherwise go unnoticed.

In 1990 a geological excavation project revealed three late Bronze Age fortification phases, which offered protection to the population in dangerous times, as well as a fourth, Celtic phase.
