About Berghexe Elisabeth
Seit vielen Jahren ist meine Leidenschaft das Wandern, habe seit über 17 Jahre eine private Wandergruppe und wir gehören KEINEM Verein an. Wir nennen uns die "Berghexen". Wir gehen ca. 2 x die Woche das ganze Jahr hindurch wandern. Im Winter gehen wir meistens in der näheren Umgebung (Mühlviertel), im Sommer sind wir aber doch auch auf höheren Bergen unterwegs.
Wir sind eine reine Frauengruppe im Alter von 45 - 76 Jahren, von sehr sportlichen Frauen bis zu etwas langsameren Bergschnecken. Das Einkehren nach den Wanderungen in den Hütten oder Gasthäusern ist für uns sehr wichtig.

Today, we had to do a hike suitable for umbrellas, so we drove to Harbach to hike the Mandelstein circular trail. The umbrella could stay in our backpacks, though.

A beautiful morning 😮😊!

After our rest, we wanted to visit the Brunnkogel. Because of the cold and the icy wind, we put on everything our backpacks could carry and set off.

We set off at Kienklause at lunchtime, climbing 960 meters in altitude. The kids had a blast, and we reached the Hochleckenhaus without a murmur. After a quick snack, we checked into our rooms to warm up in our sleeping bags with plenty of blankets and prepare for the evening hike.
