Crossing the Traversinersteg requires a bit of courage, but only a bit. Once you've stepped onto the wooden bridge that's 56 meters above the ground, it's not that bad. Today's "second" traversine footbridge was rebuilt in 2005 after the first footbridge was destroyed by a rock fall according to plans by Jürg Conzett.
