After yesterday's break, I gave my all again. The weather has slowly deteriorated. The temp are already too warm again. The piste held up well in the upper part. But at the bottom it was spring-like plow.

Ski day in cloudy weather. In the afternoon it was quite warm and especially in the lower area the snow turned to Pflotsch

Very nice hike from Riederalp to Fiescheralp. We didn't quite follow the direct route, but towards Moosfluh. At the Chüestall we couldn't resist the temptation to stop for a moment. In winter, the Chüestall will take on a difficult legacy under new management. Freshly strengthened, we hiked on towards Bettmersee where the beautiful path led through the colorful blueberry bushes high above the lake. The next part was quite steep to the mountain station of the Schönbiel chairlift. Here we then hiked steeply through the snow down to the Schönbodensee. Following the ridge, the path led us over the Laxeralp to the Fiescheralp. Since we couldn't see the Aletsch Glacier properly the whole week, we made the detour by train to the Eggishorn. The view from up there is very nice and the whole glacier can be seen.

We actually wanted to do the Aletsch Panoramaweg. Despite light snowfall during the night it would have been possible if the fog hadn't gotten stuck at this height. So we decided to go up to the Betmerhorn mountain station. It was then really winter here. After a refreshment in the restaurant, we shortened the way with the gondola lift. From Betmeralp we then hiked via Betmersee and Blausee over the beautiful hiking trail back to Riederalp.

I had had the idea for a long time to expand the Engelberg Tour towards Sälischlössli. Today I have now tackled it. Initially, I stayed in the flat to save strength. Only after Entfelden am I in the forest and slightly uphill past Kölliken to Walterswil. There I came along the main road to the Engelberg. The pub was well attended, but I left it by the wayside. After the beautiful rest area, we went down a fast trail, for me with my bike this was definitely at the limit. Since it was dry I could still drive everything. At the bottom of the Wartburghof it was very steep again up to the Sälischlössli. Here you definitely deserve a little refreshment. From here you can then again on trails to the Wartburghof and on paths towards Bad Luterbach and then Safenwil. Then on the beautiful bike path to Muhen. Here I had a little bit of energy and decided to return to the Rütihof. At the end of the Schwabisthal it was very steep. Too steep to drive. Thanks to the pushing aid, it wasn't that bad. This trail is also not recommended downhill. Lots of kicks, some of them high, and very washed out. I then drove home from the Rütihof over the Kirchenhübel.
