The paths around the Aasee lake are bustling with joggers, cyclists, inline skaters, and walkers who simply want to feel the wind in their hair. On sunny days, countless sailboats share the water with almost as many pedal boats. Blankets are spread out on the grassy areas. People eat together, chat, and laugh a lot – no one can resist the relaxed atmosphere of a beautiful summer evening.

Hiking

Münster's most central recreational area is the Aasee. It is only a 15-minute walk from the Prinzipalmarkt and offers a whole range of interesting leisure activities for young and old - from a walk to a sailing trip to visiting the zoo.
