Hiking
The transmission system on the Langenberg near Velbert consists of two transmission masts, 301 and 170 meters high. They went into operation in 1927 and until 1993 the Langeneberg transmitter was one of the most prominent medium wave transmitters. The WDR broadcasts television and radio programs from here.
From here there is a fantastic view of the Ruhr area, on the horizon you can see the Arena AufSchalke, among other things.
