Hiking

The Isenberg is a hill on the left side of the Ruhr east of Niederbonsfeld and west of Hattingen-Mitte. Its highest point is 160 m above sea level. NHN. The mountain extends as a harrow across the Ruhr in a southwest or northeast direction. It lies on the northern edge of the Rhenish Slate Mountains. It is covered with a mixed oak-beech forest. Mountain spur on the Ruhr with the Isenburg, Haus Custodis and a quarry.
