Southern most section is has large, loose rocks suited to more experienced adventurers while the northern part has good compacted gravel. Includes a stream crossing which was just a trickle when I was there in very dry conditions.

Best ridden heading north as you get more downhill on the cracking roller coaster of loose single track and gravel.....bags of fun.

A bit of everything on this bit of trail. Hardpacked gravel, loose gravel, steep and rocky, stream crossing and a small bit of open woodland. Can be ridden on a cx or gravel bike. Great section, also useful for cutting out Bath Road if youre headed up to or down from Lansdowne
