But a "look back" is also worthwhile, isn't it?The Filderklinik, designed by the architect Christoph Klein and the artist Wilfried Ogilvie, has kept a good view of both the whole of Bonlanden and large parts of the Filder Plain since 1975 with its unique "Cyclops Eye".The small juniper heath that remains below the interesting main building (in 1860 it was still 6.4 hectares in size) was finally designated as a natural monument in 1993 and is now under special protection. However, it is still accessible to pedestrians and is worth a stroll for all Filder and Bonlanden photo hunters. The Haberschlai heath is regularly looked after by the Bonlanden local group of the Swabian Alb Association. The four-legged "lawnmowers" from Rolli+Mambo🐕 ensure the particularly careful, "professional" fine cut.
