Hiking

The Kochenmühle is the eighth mill in the Siebenmühlental. It was used for milling until 1931. It was first mentioned in documents in 1451. It is adjacent to three barns and a bakery from 1551. The mill was split in two in 1836; today one part of the building houses a restaurant and the other an architectural office. The mill was not electrified until 1956. In 1979 the mill building was designated a cultural monument. The Kochenmühle also used to have a stop of the same name on the former Siebenmühlental railway. (Source: Wikipedia)
