The castle Schauenburg, also called New-Schauenburg, is the ruin of a spur castle east of the community Dossenheim in the Rhine-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg. The remains of the former mountain castle are located at about 275 meters above sea level on the southern foothills of the Mount of Olives.

Located on the castle path of the Odenwald Club - a rest here in this ruin is well deserved. You also have a great view of the Rhine valley and especially after can home.

Extensive, easy to walk ruin with great views of the mountain road.
In the courtyard, on the walls or in front of the ruin you can rest well, there are benches in several places.
