You pass the "Drehscheibe" viewpoint on this route to the summit of the Heiligenberg. From the small Drehscheibe viewing platform with seating, you have a fantastic view of Handschuhsheim, the forested slopes of the Siebenmühlental valley, and the Rhine plain.
Until you reach the top of the hill by bike, you'll pass several great viewpoints that invite you to stop.
Opposite Heidelberg Castle on the north bank of the Neckar River stands the 440-meter-high Heiligenberg. The summit of this legendary mountain massif offers the most beautiful view of Heidelberg.
