There seems to be more than one Augenbrüdel in the Mühlviertel. One can also be found in Kaltenberg and St. Leonhard. But each is a magical place in its own right. This one in particular.

The source here is said to have healing powers, although there have been no scientific studies so far, e.g. after Radion. Tradition has it that a generation ago a blind woman, her name was Susanne Huemer, was healed after washing her eyes.
