Brewmaster Rudi Vogel founded the Vogelbräu on October 12, 1985 in the Karlsruhe Kapellenstraße, as one of the first breweries of the new generation in Germany. In this sense, he is one of the "forefathers" of this movement, which today led to a proverbial new beer culture: Craft Brew. In Baden we would rather say, traditional craft-oriented brewing (mash method), with the best ingredients, unfiltered with all ingredients, directly and freshly tapped from the storage cellar, for immediate enjoyment in their own restaurant.
