The Kaysereiche, which grows in this place, is named after Oberforster Kayser. He had created hiking trails in the middle of the 19th century, thus supporting the development of Bad Grund into a spa and recreation resort.
Next to the oak is a newly built Köhlerhütte, which is perfect for a rest in bad weather.

Nice sapling, nice place with benches and a hut for a break. In addition, a stamping point, what more could you want!
