Tips

  • Sebastian Kowalke

The Kaysereiche, which grows in this place, is named after Oberforster Kayser. He had created hiking trails in the middle of the 19th century, thus supporting the development of Bad Grund into a spa and recreation resort.

Next to the oak is a newly built Köhlerhütte, which is perfect for a rest in bad weather.

Stamp office of the Harzer hiking nobility. If you are on the way to the Harz construction path, you can rest well in the existing refuge. There are also two benches and an outdoor table.

The most beautiful way to the Kaysereiche.
Start in Bad Grund in the marketplace and then over the Moorstieg up to the Kaysereiche.

Here is a very beautiful Harz-Köhler-Köt in which you can sit well and dry even in bad weather. However, making fires is prohibited in this kitten because of the construction method.
