The market hall is open to the public. A visit is recommended.
But it is also very worthwhile to visit the market there on Saturday morning. Meat, sausage, cheese, fruit, vegetables, jam, honey... Everything looks delicious. Other stands can also be found on the square in front of the hall. Also fish stalls. There are good bakeries here in town anyway.Across the square in the Manoir de Bois Hibout, the Cave de l'Abbaye sells wine, calvados and more. The building from the 17th century is impressive and the vault in which the shop is located is also worth seeing.A visit to the church and the medieval quarter nearby complete the visit of Dives-sur-Mer.

14th and 15th century. The beautiful oak frame of these market halls is still completely intact and in perfect harmony with the tiled roof. Wrought iron signs refer to various merchants. At the back of the place de la République are the 16th-century buildings of the Manoir de Bois-Hibou. The house with the name Lieutenance served as a gendarmerie in the 19th century.

A slightly different market hall... great medieval wooden building, which alone is worth the visit... apart from the Saturday market activity
