The Breitenlee marshalling yard is a discontinued transport project between Austria-Hungary and the early First Republic. The area is located in the 22nd district of Vienna, Donaustadt. Construction began in World War I in 1916, but was finally discontinued in the post-war economic crises around 1925. The marshalling yard would have been the largest train station in Europe at the time.
The ruins of the Schukowitz Bridge can still be seen impressively today. (see pictures)
