In 1323 a catholic church "St. Vitus" Ursensollen was mentioned for the first time. In 1712 the old church was torn down and rebuilt, but with a new high altar. The altars are impressive examples of acanthus altars. The high altar from 1712 was built by master Georg Wolfgang Donhauser from Lauterhofen. In 1955 the church was expanded and renovated in 1990 and the church tower was increased by 5 meters. The church is freely accessible and always open. ursensollen.de/page_3_6.php
