Beautiful summit area, much less busy than at Wendelstein. During the week as a Feierabendtour recommended.

The summit area is completely rocky. Caution: On the other side, it goes downhill for several hundred meters. A beautiful panorama of the surrounding mountains (Wendelstein etc.)

The rocky sunny peak. You can find a comfortable spot to have a lunch break but it is a bit rocky so mind your spot! You will find beautiful view around you with all the different shapes of the rocks. It is just amazing

Great view of the Wendelstein and the Großglockner.

Usually well attended. It is usually quieter on the neighboring Bockstein summit. A stop at the Hubertushütte at the foot of the Breitenstein is recommended ;-)
