Not that this street isn't gorgeous, but architecturally, that's pretty much the whole of downtown Chicago. Fortunately, the center with the buildings is not that extensive, you can explore it on foot. So also visit Magnificient Mile, but not only this one!

Shopping street with quite some high-end stores and malls, interestingly unlike other cities mixed up with pretty regular shops. The layout is much more spacious and green than for instance Manhatten making it feel a bit relaxter despite the massive traffic. Quite some landmarks are on the stretch between the river and Hancock, while further north it gets less exciting, but also less busy.
