The Römerweg leads across the western Haard from the Hülsbergstraße in Marl-Lenkerbeck to the Recklinghäuser Straße in Haltern-Bossendorf. It is a wide and very easy-to-drive forest path that increases minimally but steadily in the west-east direction. Overall, the route is very varied and offers an interesting nature experience.
