Tips
On the summit region of the Rennberg, there used to be a wooden fire watch tower and lookout tower. The dilapidated building, which was 35 m high, was demolished in 2009 and replaced by the also 35 m high fire tower Rennberg made of galvanized steel construction. From its more than 143 steps achievable and on 32 m tower height located observation platform on approximately 168 m above sea level. NHN falls the view over the Haard, inter alia to Flaesheim, located on the Wesel-Datteln-Kanal lock Flaesheim and in good visibility to the Ruhr area and the Münsterland.
