The name "Rothwegen" is used in Hoisbüttel (today a district of the municipality of Ammersbek) to refer to a farm located about 2 km north of the village by a stream ("Au"). The area on the Au (today usually referred to as "Ammersbek") surrounding this expansion is also called that.
