A multitude of colored feet "walk" around the roundabout at Merowinger Platz. They are part of Till Hausmann's "pedestrian sculpture" and hang from the chains of the boundary pillars that enclose both the green island in the middle of the square and the lane of the roundabout. Dangling sometimes in one direction, sometimes in the other, the 170 foot objects are a symbol of the busy traffic at Merowinger Platz, where the Montessori Kinderhaus Bilk e.V. and the Life Science Center Düsseldorf technology and start-up center are located, among others.
