View of the Wied Loops at Bürder and Clemenshütte

The steep climb from the Bürder campsite is worth it, great views, especially when the weather is sunny and clear.

Fabulous views of the Wiedschleifen near Bürder and the Clemenshütte. Pure Wiedweg romance. A more romantic setting for rest benches with tables right on the mountain edge is hard to imagine. From above, you can observe the almost silent hustle and bustle of the Wiedtalstraße over the bridge. The climb from Bürder via the Wiedweg path along the mountain spur is quite steep and demanding. Sturdy footwear is recommended. Every meter of ascent is more than rewarded up here. There are no trash cans, so please take your picnic trash with you. Leaving the forest, behind the rest stop, a beautifully situated high plateau meadow with a beautiful view opens up.
