Hoge Duvel is a beautiful gravel road / 'Strade Bianche' running through the 'Kroondomein Het Loo' forest. At the intersection in the middle of Kroondomein in the south, there's the possibility of following the Hoge Duvel further towards Apeldoorn in the east, or turning further south towards Hoog Soeren.
Kroondomein het Loo form the official royal hunting grounds, making them a beautiful part of the Veluwe nature park, but also most paths are closed off to the public from mid september to Christmas for hunting season. This one is open all year though :) Be aware of this before planning your ride here. Otherwise, definitely ride this highlight as it is beautiful.

Beautiful surroundings, very cool (hard) gravel strip. Did these with 25mm tires on a racing bike from Apeldoorn to Elspeet, which is fine to do! That stretch is about 10 kilometers.

Super nice gravel path right through the Kroondomein. If you're lucky, you might spot some wildlife before it's shot by the royal family...

Very nice path, I did it on 28mm race tyres. In the descent it can be a challenge, but it's not busy. I guess one of the bigger gravel climbs in the Veluwe

1 of the most beautiful gravel paths in the Veluwe & open all year round! A bit exciting with the racing tires, but it's fine!

From apeldoorn to elspeet it is more fun, more climbing :)Keep in mind that if you go downhill towards Apeldoorn, there are often people with children and dogs walking at the end, so keep your speed low
