Great gravel, the bridleway doesn't actually join up with the road at one end. The way onto it is either via a footpath or a private driveway. The farm owners get quite grouchy if you use the driveway so be very polite!

Nice well-surfaced gravel track bridlepath between West Littleton village and Tormarton Road. Bumpy in places but generally very rideable on a CX or gravel bike in all seasons.
There is a gate about halfway along so be sure to shut it behind you if you open it to go through. The second half of path passes through a field that usually has livestock in so be aware and ride respectfully through here.

Worth the 100m walk on the unrideable public footpath to avoid the angry farmer who doesn't like people using his driveway!

Very well kept wide double track, hardpacked. Good year round, with a few puddle in winter.

Not sure how "kosher" this is, but it's a fantastic gravel track. I was routed via a footpath through a field at the bottom of Shire Hill, which leads to the lane that I could have taken directly a hundred yards up the hill... a much better alternative.
