Bike Touring Highlight
Built by the Romans during their rule of Britain, the Fosse Way road connected Exeter and Lincoln via Bath, Cirencester and Leicester. Running 230 miles (370 km) in total, the road is now popular with off-road bikers. Expect to push in places if you are not on a mountain or gravel bike, as it can be muddy and rocky in places.
