At the Drachenfels a small path leads down to the Dragon Cave between two rocks. Worthwhile. 👍
Walkable all year round. Also in the winter a class tour

Under the Drachenfels necessarily the dragon cave look. From Drachenfels goes down a staircase you almost can not see. Between two rock columns :-)

Do not forget: the dragon chamber below the rock plateau can only be reached from above. Exploring the rock plateau (danger of falling!) With children takes just under an hour.

Wonderful view in the middle of the nature reserve around the Drachenfels. The "summit cross", which I was looking forward to as a photo subject, is unfortunately no longer available. Outside, of course, there is still enough to see and discover! It would be interesting to watch a sunrise from here.

Dragon Cave under the rock beautiful.
    Something hidden.
But if you look closely you will find the exit to the dragon's lair between two disks

The dragon cave is located under the Drachenfels.
Between two hard drives, it goes down.
If you look closely you can see the ladder

Do the tour the other way, then the climb is much easier. And the descent is actually quite good. Were there in the spring of 2015. Really wonderful.
The cave (s) you have to search a little, but they offer a great experience.
Be careful on the slippery stairs

From Saupferch a bit exhausting - but worth the effort. The view is great!

As described by Ralf, a staircase between two hard drives goes down into the Dragon Cave.
    So look carefully.
