The Budjadingen Citizens' Initiative (BIBu) has set up the disused fairway buoy 'Port-Glockenton 46' in the port of Fedderwardersiel. The barrel entered service in 1928. In 1990 the conversion from gas to solar operation took place. The ton was decommissioned in 2006. The former navigation mark now serves as a landmark in the last fishing port between the container ports in Wilhelmshaven and Bremerhaven.Source: deutsche-glühfeuer.de
