Legend has it that in 1700, the pastor of Sebastian Grün gave the horse here. He remained unharmed in this fall after calling the Blessed Mother. The pilgrimage on the Mausberg began with this event. To thank you for the wonderful help, Pastor Green had a small chapel carved out here with the wooden picture of the Painful Mother. In 1752 the construction of today's church began. Beautiful pilgrimage church.

the pilgrimage church is located on the Mausberg. A beautiful way of the cross leads to the popular location. The Mausbergfest takes place here every September.
