The "Kälberweid" is a truly fantastic viewpoint with a lovely wooden bench and a seating area for a picnic. On a clear day, you have a magnificent view of the Alps. In the distance, you can see the 4,000-meter peaks of the Bernese Alps (to the right) and, further east (to the left), the Uri Alps.

This highlight is somewhat overshadowed by the famous Belchen mountain, but offers significantly more peace and quiet.
