Beautiful little island in the Old Rhine which can be reached via a bridge. At the end of the island is probably a sailing club.

The Rhine island "Corsica" lies west of Oberhausen-Rheinhausen and north of the Rheinschanzinsel.
The island belongs to the nature reserve "Rhine lowlands from Philippsburg to Mannheim".
It is formed by the Philippsburger Altrhein, which is also the outlet of the Rhine Low Canal here. The access to the island leads from Oberhausen on dirt roads.
The Wendelinus complex and the St. Francis grotto are on the way to the island.
The island's name suggests Napoleon, who came from the French island of Corsica. He is said to have camped here during one of his campaigns.
