The war cemetery at the Waldfriedhof was created in 1960/64. The memorial hall is an architectural specialty. It consists of a white, towering triangle made of concrete - a narrow, 13 m high disc made of more than 1,800 individual prisms, in which the sunlight breaks in the morning, closes off at the front.
