The Filskaul: an almost forgotten place
The tiny grove, which has been preserved like an island in the middle of the agricultural fields and meadows, is not only the last refuge for the flora and fauna, it also served as a shelter for people for centuries. A little secret is hidden in the middle of the trees: there are three caves in a depression that are only known to the locals and some older Mechernichers.
