Best Hikes to Kostgfäll Gorge

Tips

  • Very beautiful and rather unknown gorge.

  • An impressive valley with up to 25% gradient delimited by cliffs up to 40m high.

Near the Hanover Hof, the gorge starts with a 10m high waterfall and meanders over almost 200 meters to the Lochhof.

The gorge is used for energy generation, so you can see pipes and turbine houses every now and then, but it has a very towering character and is more of a secret destination for tourists.

  • The somewhat remote gorge is mainly visited as a climbing destination because of the slope rocks
