Great forest restaurant, the top specialty are the homemade Maultaschen ... you can also take it with you or have it delivered ... anything goes. The onion roast is also very, very tasty, always with pleasure. When the weather is nice, you can sit in several places in front of the restaurant and enjoy the landscape. You order the food inside and get a channel.

  • Location and history: The seven linden trees are a popular excursion destination, as we know from Uhlbach via the Götzenberg, or from Esslingen's Kathrinenlinde. The actual name is the location at the gate in Käppeleshau. The seven linden trees, which have been there for a long time, is the most popular name for the location today.
The name comes from the linden trees that were there in the 19th century. It is not known whether there were actually seven.
The seven lime-tree restaurant has a beautiful outdoor area and is heavily frequented.
From here you have a beautiful view of the Neckar Valley and up to the edges of the Filder Plain, where you can see the high buildings of the Asemwald and the television tower.
Of course, from here you can also see beautifully across to Württemberg with its grave chapel.
There is also an important wayside cross here. From here it goes to Uhlbach and Obertürkheim down into the Neckar Valley. On the other side, the paths lead down into the Remstal to Rommelshausen and Stetten. And to the east you come across the Kathrinenlinde to Wäldenbronn and Esslingen.
