The Leitstade forest station is a small (smoke-free!) Station that does not require a concourse or waiting room and is located in the middle of the forest in northern Germany's largest mixed forest - the Göhrde state forest. This is where the “Wendlandbahn” stops, which commutes between Lüneburg and Dannenberg every three hours.
