The forest cemetery in Aumühle has existed since March 1911. The widow of Prince Herbert von Bismarck, Marguerite von Bismarck, in the name of her then 12-year-old son Otto, gave the Aumühle parish free of charge a forest area of 18,000 square meters for the cemetery and a further 17,000 square meters for the construction of the church and a community center.
Today it is a large, beautiful and very well-kept forest cemetery where you can take a little walk and enjoy the peace and quiet.
