On the way to or from the huts there are always very nice views.

Great starting point for hikes! The hut is run by two sisters and you are warmly welcomed. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious and the beer is great: berggasthof-kenzenhuette.de.

After the Viehabtrieb in mid-September, the hut is no longer farmed, so take enough to drink and eat, or stop in front of the Fritz-Putz hut.

Again and again a detour value is the Kenzenhütte in the Ammergebirge. Price / performance are still right here, the staff competent and friendly, the cheese bread plentiful ... what more could you want in this beautiful landscape.

The Schlossbergalm has a top price-performance ratio. Delicious food at reasonable prices. There are parking spaces for guests in front of the Alm. Ideally, you park outside of town and walk up.

Great cozy cabin. Tip: be sure to try the cheese noodles from the cast-iron pan - a poem for many years.

Here at Faulensee you can swim well and there is delicious food at the kiosk.

Also worth a visit in fine winter weather.

Recommended for a break with food and drink. On warm days often very crowded, best on the way back in the late afternoon.

Very steep and loose scree only for gravel road specialists, worthwhile because of the view.

If you want to hike in the Ostallgäu, you can't avoid the Kenzenhütte. Even the bus ride can be an adventure. There are many tours from the mountain hut, the classic is the route over the Hochplatte.
