The Sängerruh greets you from the edge of the forest on the Schönberg with a wonderful view over the city and the countryside. In the spring of 1923, the topping-out ceremony and inauguration were celebrated. Four years after the First World War, the decision was made in the male choir to erect a memorial stone for the fallen singers. The first plaque was destroyed after World War II. Now a plaque with the inscription "To the dead of both world wars 1914/18 and 1939/45" adorns the limestone boulder.
