The Berghauser chapel near Ebringen is a gem. If you want to get to the Berghauser chapel, you have to go up high. Pedestrians walk past the Ebringer vineyards, car drivers and cyclists use the bends in district road 4953, which leads from Ebringen to Schönberg and on to Wittnau. The door of the chapel is open, a protective steel grating (since 1986) gives a clear view of the valuable, dark gray and black marbled high altar from 1750 with its gilded figures and rich rococo ornaments. Since the restoration in 1985, the two side altars have been attractive because of their cheerful marbling in light blue and vermilion tones and their simple structure.

In 1806 the "Berghauser Kirchle" was supposed to be demolished, but 25 men from Ebringer saved it from destruction. In 1940 the chapel was in the way of planning a military training area for the Wehrmacht. Pastor Ludwig Schenkel fought tirelessly with the authorities to preserve them and was ultimately successful. At the request of numerous bridal couples, an organ with seven registers, one manual and pedal was installed in 1988. Many bridal couples appreciate the pretty little church. Weddings and golden weddings take place every weekend from May to October.
