When the Kippenburg was built as a ruin around 1839, it served to amuse the population and still does today.
The Kippenburg is a castle ruin built by Adam Kipp, which was used as a vineyard house and lookout tower in the 19th century. On April 22, 1839 Adam Kipp received permission from the Aschaffenburg magistrate to cultivate the "Ödung am Godelsberg on the left of Ludwigsallee". 😀
