The three-sided high baroque column is one of the most important sculptures in western Bohemia and an outstanding artistic landmark of the square. In the years 1717 to 1719 the town had it made by the sculptor Johann Karl Stilp from Cheb as thanks for the prevention of the plague. On a triangular base are statues of Saint Wenceslaus, Saint Florian and Saint John the Baptist, Saint Mary Immaculate, Saint John of Nepomuk and Saint Sebastian. Three sculptures of the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel stand on a profiled cornice. A high triangular column rises on the base, on top of which stands a statue of the Holy Trinity with a cross and a star. The column is currently (July 2023) being restored and is therefore scaffolded.
