The so-called willow mill is a two-storey hipped roof building with plastered half-timbering, partly renewed, from the 18th century. The mill is operated with the water from the mill ditch. The building is listed in the list of architectural monuments in Pommelsbrunn under the number D-5-74-147-1.

The willow mill at Högenbach near Pommelsbrunn in its current form dates from the 18th century. Watermills have existed in the valley since at least the end of the Middle Ages, because the first Pommelsbrunner mentioned in writing was a farm man at the willow mill.
